Laos Villages migrated across the Mekong to a hillside in Thailand

Laos villages migrated across the might Mekong river to a tranquil, forested hillside in Thailand. The peaceful setting was ideal for Dharma practices and attracted many travelling monks. A temple and unique lookout was soon built and the area is still expanding today. Wat Tham Sri Thon.
