How do you know which gimbal mode you're in when using the extension rod?

When you switch gimbal modes using the right button on the mini control stick, the mode you're switching to displays on the screen of the Pocket 2. When you use the C1 button on the extension handle to switch gimbal modes, there is no indication of which gimbal mode you're switching to. Am I missing something?
