The Getty Center is on a hilltop not far from Downtown Los Angeles. It contains a number of museum buildings as well as adjunct facilities. The grounds also include a wonderful garden. Many of the buildings and terraces are Travertine imported from Italy. The collection of paintings and sculptures are world renown. A great place to spend a day.
