Totally happy with the OSMO Pocket my experience has been that PGYTECH also make some quality equipment ... "EXCEPT" for their protective case being marketed.
In the standard configuration so many times the gimbal cover has slipped off with little warning. So after much frustration I decided to fix it.
Sharing this upgrade to anyone who has or is thinking of purchasing the PGYTECH gimbal protective case.
I have attached video link helping to explain the modification & immediate benefit. "ZERO FRUSTRATION" :+) yay !!!
The video shows a test without the mod applied and then after.
You will require a drill approx 2mm in diameter, this depends upon the size of stretch cord chosen. I preferred a thick band in order to easily disengage the cord.
The holes must be made as close as possible to each corner avoiding any interference with the Gimbal
A simple black hair band was used "cheap & simple" (check the bathroom)
Enjoy your OSMO Pocket !
