Nope. Haven't experienced that.

EVERYTHING we use these days "calls home" and I'd like a bit less of it. Some Android app that I was starting to install the other day "apologized" as it prompted "Google requires location services" - the app should not have had anything to do with my location. I canceled installation.

Sure, why not think that a Chinese company that takes aerial photos and tracks flight paths MIGHT ship some of that data back home. But then again, the US government wants backdoors into our "secure" phones.
