I bought a Pocket 2 a few weeks ago to document hiking and biking trips in Northern New Mexico. Until today, the results had been dismal, making me think I had invested in the wrong type of camera. I took a commonly available pouch for backpack shoulder straps, put two microfiber pads in the pouch, and secured it to my pack with an extra small strap. Then after a few trials, I changed the gimbal setting on the Pocket 2 from Follow to Tilt Locked. I was shocked at how well it worked after using several other commercially available devices to secure the Pocket 2. The only problem I experienced was some overheating after videoing continuously while riding in 70-degree temps. Pictures of the modified pouch and a run on my bike dodging prairie dog holes are attached. For extra security, I attach the wrist strap of the pocket to the carabiner on the shoulder strap.
