We were about 11 miles away as the crow fly,.. got some decent stuff. It took about 1:20 seconds for the sound to reach us and separation came about 4:06 later. We stood on the banks of the Indian River (ICW) for the view, missed the re-entry which felt like it was directly above us compared to where the launch was but managed to get the landing of the return rockets.. ,.. being there was all the better for all senses, original is in 4K

I've been wanting to drive out there every time they launch it, but am afraid of the launch being scrubbed at the last minute!

I've been wanting to drive out there every time they launch it, but am afraid of the launch being scrubbed at the last minute!

We drive down from Jacksonville, about 2 hrs., and even if it's scrubbed I use the time to do something else in the area- sometimes we even camp! I also keep looking for better viewing sites,..
